   For high temperature automotive application Be Cu alloys and steels are commonly used because of these superior stress relaxation characteristics. The WE #1 inlay material is a good contact material for temperatures up to 200°C. For higher temperatures, other inlay materials are used. The 62Au21Pd14Ag contact material can be used in applications up to 350°C.
