   Typical base materials for battery contacts in cellphones are BeCu alloys such as C 172 and C 174. If wear is an issue in the contact area, the PdNi 20 inlay alloy is a good material of choice. Electroplated systems are typically using hard Au in the contact area to provide reliable connection.
